POV: A Narcissist has joined the chat: step three- Trauma bonding

Every bond is special

when you become someone’s daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, son, grandson, brother, nephew and many more relationships that never end which all lead to be someone’s wife or husband.

When the time comes, the smiles, the sweets, never ending functions and so on until the wedding.

Oh the wedding…

“Smile!” camera click “bride and groom, let’s pose just like that” camera click “beautiful couple right?”

She has the house, the husband, and everything in between… she also got the sorrys and heard it all… the lies, the pushes, the repeats of the same action.

She has the house.. But not the husband…

She stayed and the abuse continued and then there were three.

The door opened… she stayed again, and from then on… sleepless nights, longer days, and the screams got louder.

This time the door finally opened wider and when you call upon him once, he protects, guards and provides in such ways you never knew you were capable of so.

and then freedom lays upon the hands that led to the one who holds justice…

She has a home, but not the husband…

because trauma bonding almost gave the graveyard another guest.

POV: A Narcissist has joined the chat: step two- Rose colored glasses

When someone is showing you their true colors by how they talk, the reaction they can give when they are angry, not listening to you or even bothering to give you that care in any fore, believe them that this is their true identity. This is what you call “Rose colored Glasses” which is exactly what a narcissist will make sure you have. This is another way of them keeping you in their trap. A narcissist wants you to believe that they aren’t ‘bad’ and everything you see or hear is all in your head. They will make you believe that you are either going crazy or you are crazy. A narcissist will cover your eyes by showing you what you want to see, this is their way of hiding their true colors, because as long as you take their side, defend them and are under their control, they are safe from being exposed. They will make sure you see the sweet, loving and caring person that a narcissist has “always” shown you.

The ONLY way to get out of this is by taking the glasses off, believe in your gut when you noticed the pattern, when you start to feel your body is giving up on the energy that you are providing the narcissist with, a light bulb will start to flicker and tell you to take those glasses off and walk away from that toxic relationship.

POV: A Narcissist has joined the chat: step one- Love Bombing

A narcissist will pretend to be interested in everything you tell them, pretending to care about your deepest secrets, personal problems and even in your hobbies and goals. This is the secret key of telling you that they want to be serious with you, want to create a future with you. At first you will think “oh my gosh, they really understand me” but as time passes and they finally have you in their trap  every “interest” they had in you goes away like it was nothing. The best way to spot a narcissist’s love bombing is if they are actually listening to you, making eye contact with you and actually giving you the sympathy that you desire. Always trust your gut when speaking to a narcissist, if you have a discomfort feeling from telling them about your feelings, the best thing to do is to keep your distance.
